Our First In-Person Talk and What Comes Next
Overview
This past week, Theo gave our first in-person talk for the Apostolate for Marital Intimacy, focusing on emotional intimacy and communication in marriage. The response made one thing clear: couples are looking for practical, faithful guidance they can actually use. We are now opening the door for parishes and ministries to host in-person or virtual events. Join us tonight at 7 PM CDT for our live Q&A on YouTube, where we will also be giving away a copy of Love and Responsibility. We are also just under $400 from our monthly goal, and your support helps us continue this work.
This past week marked an important milestone for the Apostolate for Marital Intimacy. Theo gave our first in-person talk, focusing on emotional intimacy and communication in marriage.
He met couples who are trying to navigate real challenges, not in theory, but in daily life. The conversation centered on how spouses can better understand one another, communicate clearly, and begin rebuilding connection where it has been lost or strained. What stood out most was not just the content, but the response. There is a real hunger for practical, faithful guidance in this area.
That experience confirmed something we have seen again and again:
Couples are not looking for vague encouragement. They are looking for clarity, direction, and tools they can actually use.
Because of that, we are opening the door.
If you are part of a parish, diocese, or Catholic ministry and are looking to host a talk, workshop, or retreat, we would be honored to serve your community. For now, both Theo and James are available for in-person and virtual events.
Our goal is to make this accessible. As a general rule, we do not require an honorarium. Instead, we ask for the opportunity to collect a freewill offering during the event, whether through a simple collection or a QR code. This allows us to continue building this apostolate while serving a wide range of communities.
If you are interested in hosting an event, you can submit a request through our events page.
