Free Relationship Coaching for Military Couples

Practical Support for Real Relationship Challenges

We offer up to three free, confidential 50-minute relationship coaching sessions for currently serving members of the U.S. uniformed services (Active Duty, Guard, and Reserve) and their partner. This program is also available to currently serving military personnel from other nations, provided sessions can be conducted in English or French.

This is a fast, practical way to get support when your relationship is under stress and you are not sure where to turn.

Sessions are conducted via Zoom or at our office in Saint Louis, MO The first session is typically available within 24–48 hours.

Who This Is For

This program is designed for:

  • Currently serving military members and all members of the U.S. uniformed services, including the Army, Navy, Air Force, Marine Corps, Space Force, Coast Guard, NOAA Corps, and U.S. Public Health Service (Active Duty, Guard, and Reserve where applicable)

  • Currently serving military personnel from other nations (sessions must be conducted in English or French)

  • Married, engaged, or dating couples

  • Couples navigating stress, conflict, or disconnection

  • Service members balancing military demands and relationship challenges

You may attend individually, but we strongly recommend both partners participate when possible.

What You’ll Get

In these sessions, you will:

  • Learn practical tools to improve communication and connection

  • Address areas of conflict, stress, or disconnection

  • Receive clear, realistic next steps for moving forward

This is not just a conversation. You will leave with specific direction and tools you can apply immediately.

How the Program Works

Session 1: Clarity and Stabilization

We identify the core issues in your relationship, clarify your goals, and begin addressing immediate areas of stress.

Session 2: Tools and Skill-Building

We review progress, strengthen the tools introduced, and provide additional strategies to improve communication and interaction.

Session 3: Next Steps and Ongoing Support

We consolidate what you have learned and help you identify the best path forward, whether that is continued coaching or another resource.

Confidential and Independent of the Military

This program is not part of the military health system.

  • No diagnosis is made

  • No treatment is provided

  • No information is shared with command or military medical systems

This is confidential coaching support, designed to give you a safe place to address your relationship without concern for career impact.

Limits of confidentiality apply only in cases of:

  • Immediate risk of harm to yourself or others

  • Abuse of a minor, elderly, or disabled person

  • Legal or court order

What This Is (and Is Not)

  • Focused on improving your relationship

This is not:

  • Therapy or medical care

  • Crisis intervention

  • Long-term treatment

What Happens After These Sessions

For some couples, these sessions provide enough clarity and direction to move forward.

For others, additional support may be needed.

We will help you identify realistic next steps, which may include:

  • Military OneSource

  • On-post behavioral health

  • Chaplain services

  • Civilian therapy providers

  • Continued coaching at a reduced rate
